For much of my life, I’ve wrestled with the balance between vocation and passion. Music has always been more than a hobby—it’s a defining force in my life. At the same time, my work as a builder is far more than “just a job.” Both are integral to who I am, each demanding equal energy, devotion, and creativity.

Society often pushes us to choose one path, but I’ve found fulfillment in embracing both. Reconciling these roles has led me to present myself authentically: as Leah Calvert, both musician and builder. Together, these identities form the foundation of who I am and the driving force behind Vera Hellcat Construct.

With over 15 years of experience in construction in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve had the privilege of working on high-end residential and light commercial projects, including restaurants and unique creative spaces. As an EarthCraft-certified builder, I am committed to sustainable practices that align with the needs of both my clients and the environment. My team and I take pride in our ability to manage complex projects, from structural innovation to high-end craftsmanship, delivering results that are as functional as they are beautiful.
